Wrong Trousers Day 2007 Update

Wrong Trousers Day 2007 is shaping up to be the biggest one yet!

A record 250,000 people have already registered on for the sports-themed day that asks people to team up, pay a £1 and wear sports-themed legwear to work or school. In a bid to hit the magic million, Wallace & Gromit are launching a national competition to find the people with the wrongest wrong trousers in the land. Sporting Brits who join the wrong revolution online and photo themselves on Wrong Trousers Day have the chance to go up against trousertastic celebrities for a national online vote for the crown of Wrongest Wrong Trousers in the UK. The winners receive a visit by Wallace and Gromit for tea, cheese and biscuits at an event of their choice. And if that isn't your cup of tea, there's a Landrover driving experience on offer.

Wallace and Gromit start in Bristol and Winchester and then cruise to children's hospitals and hospices in Nottingham, Birmingham, Sheffield, Manchester, Stockton, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow in a cracking national trouser tour. The Foundation raises money for over twenty UK children's hospitals and hospices. The much needed money from the children's charity will fund everything from teaching and mobility aids, music therapy and play rooms, to uplifting activities and emergency equipment for terminally ill children.
