Shaun's London Trail Extended

Great news if you haven't yet managed to get to the London leg of the Shaun in the City trail! Due to popular demand, the trail has been extended until Sunday 31st May!

If you live in the UK this means you now have the added bonus of being able to take part in the trail over the May half term holiday, the perfect opportunity to seek out the 50 Shauns dotted around the capital! The trail has been a huge success so far, continuing the legacy of Gromit Unleashed, and giving Aardman fans a chance to have fun and do something for charity at the same time!

Hundreds of thousands of people have visited the sculptures since they arrived in London back in March. Fans from as far afield as Finland, Australia and the USA have taken part, with many enhancing their experience by using the official Sheep Spotter app - it's been downloaded over 25,000 times to date!

Shaun spotters have shared some fantastic selfies and photos on Facebook and Twitter, as well as their personal stories connected to the trail. So it was a bit of a 'no brainer' to extend the trail, as Nicola Masters, director of Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Charity, explains:

"We have been absolutely overwhelmed with the popularity of our Shaun in the City trail in London. Visitors have come from all over the capital, the UK and indeed the world just to see our sculptures, and seeing their photos on social media and hearing how much they have enjoyed the trail has been just fantastic.

"More and more enquiries were coming in every day as to whether the sculptures could stay on display for longer, and we knew we had to do everything we could to make it happen. I am delighted to be able to announce that the trail has been extended for an extra week, giving even more visitors the opportunity to take part in their very own Shaun hunt."

A small number of the sculptures may be relocated between Monday 25th May and Sunday 31st May. Keep an eye on the Shaun in the City Facebook page for more info. And to read all the info you need to plan your day out, visit the Shaun in the City website.
