We have some exciting news for our fans in Australia - an exhibition of all things Aardman arrives in Melbourne next year!
'Wallace and Gromit and Friends: The Magic of Aardman' opens at ACMI Melbourne in June 2017 and will be open until October, offering fans the chance to journey into the world of Aardman and meet up with some favourite characters including Shaun the Sheep, Wallace and Gromit and Morph.
A whopping 350 objects will be featured in the exhibition, including original artwork, sketches and storyboards. You'll be able to immerse yourself in over 50 film sets, including Gromit's famous vegetable garden, the cityscape from Shaun the Sheep The Movie, the flying machine from Chicken Run and the spectacular ship from The Pirates!
Created by Art Ludique, which hosted the exhibition in Paris in 2015, The Magic of Aardman offers a truly immersive experience, filled with colourful models, drawings and character studies so you can get a true inside look at how Aardman's best-loved films have been brought to life.
Designed to be enjoyed by all ages, there will be special kids trails and activities for younger visitors, and film extracts from more than 60 shorts and features to delight both kids and grown ups.
If you're a true animation buff you can admire a feast of concept drawings, character studies and production designs to get a fascinating insight into the animation process. You'll also have the opportunity to see some of Aardman's imaginative commercials and music videos.
