theve been running them since 2005, and need a break, and aardman are putting more money into the shaun the sheep franchise at the moment.

scottish cookie, dont think it has anything to do with votes or comments if you look at past winners, i think the staff pass on what they think are the best to nick and nick (i hope) chooses the winners.
i think its best that way as it would be easy for family and friends to vote for their own work, and so the competition wouldnt be fair
i would guess that nick would be far too busy to troll through all the entries,
although i could be completely wrong about this!!!!!

ScottishCookie - Conty is correct, we shortlist the entries each month and Nick picks the winners for us - it's been a very high standard so far so I'm sure it is a very difficult choice!

Joel - as Jordan has said, the W&G comic has been going for a long time now so they are taking a short break, hopefully it will return again in the future with lots of new W&G content. We'll keep the forums updated with any news.

Conty - well spotted on the forum post times!! We have swapped to an American server so the times have changed - we will be updating this soon to display the time that is relevant to each individual's part of the world!

I haven't checked the FAN KIT now, if there are new goodies.
But there are nice Xmas Avatars in the Xmas Kit.

its really anyoying me! the video player on the main home page is flash and cause when the page loads it looks for a flash player it keeps coming up with a error message about the roo player then it closes all my webspages im viewing and its becoming really fustrating & annoying also the contents menu down the left side when the mouse rollover them they disapear and come back again and when you roll over then you see the patterned brown collumn background graphic that is on the left hand side of the page.

Whenever I try to change my avatar a blank screen comes up. When I then go back onto my profile, the picture hasn't changed. Could this please be fixed!! Merry Christmas!!

Hi TheUltimateAnimator and Harry, make sure you delete your current avatar, upload your new one and then refresh your page by pressing:

CTRL + F5 together (Internet Explorer and Firefox)
Apple + R together (Apple Mac)

You should then see your new avatar!

I followed your instructions on changing my avatar, but when I try to delete or upload a new avatar a blank screen comes up. If I try to reload this page a blank screen comes up again and when i go back to my profile my avatar is still this weird cow. Sorry to be a nuisance!!!!

Maybe I'm a bit biased being a fan and all, but I do love this site!!! I like the new comment option when you sign in. Maybe You could stream-line info like a sports page or ticker-tape that informs us of new info? Or a virtual view of Wallace's house that we could explore. Maybe options to click on inside that would make it interactive. Like a game area, or to be able to go into Wallace and Gromit's basement to help them invent something. Sounds fun to me.

i think the " NEW Posts " should dissapear after you view the post and only be displayed once after you visit that certain section of forum

Modelmaker93 You need to look for a program to compress your video, QuickTime pro is good for compressing videos or any decent video editor.
