Have you seen our fantastic new competition to win a copy of The Complete Cracking Contraptions Manual from Haynes? It's packed with every single amazing invention created by Wallace and Gromit, from the robotic 'Techno Trousers' that Wallace gave Gromit for his birthday in 'The Wrong Trousers' to the Mind Manipulation-O-Matic, the amazing invention with the power to reveal and alter the contents of the wearer's mind, as seen in 'The Curse of the Were-Rabbit'.

To celebrate the launch of this cool competition we have a fun new challenge for you, with a suitably Christmassy theme. We want you to share your inventive ideas for a contraption that would help to make Christmas run more smoothly. Perhaps you could develop an invention that cleans up Christmas wrapping paper after you've opend your presents, for example? Or maybe you have an idea that will help you eat as much Christmas chocolate as you like without getting into trouble with your parents! Share your Christmas-themed contraptions with us below - we're looking forward to seeing what weird and wonderful ideas you come up with!

And don't forget to enter the competition here. One lucky winner will receive a Cracking Contraptions Manual plus a Wrong Trousers card construction kit which hasn't even hit the shops yet! Ten runners-up will also receive a copy of the manual. Good luck!
