I love the muppets!!! Recently I slept round a friends house and we watched a really gory horror film. They wanted to watch another horror film but after the first one I didn't want to watch any more horror for a while!!! So then we decided to watch something more childish and took ages raiding the DVDs that they had in the house and eventually chose Muppet Christmas Carol!!! We had a really great time and sang along to most of the songs!!!

Not a lot of people know that Jim Henson is dead becouse his died in 1990 and his place as Kermit was taken over by Steve Whitmire(Rizzo the rat)

I haven't seen the new movie, but I am a big muppet fan and have three seasons of the origional show on dvd. My favorite characters are sargent Floyd Pepper, ( Who plays bass in the band) and The Great Gonzo.

P.S. I love " The Muppet Christmas Carol" I watch it every Christmas Eve. It is one of the best adaptations I've seen of that story.

I just bought the " Muppet Treasure Island". I haven't seen that in years! It quickly became my favorite Muppet Movie ( alongside of the " Christmas Carol)

Finally got the" Great Muppet Caper" too. It was good! I loved the cameos by John Cleese and Peter Falk and Oscar the Grouch.

Man I love the Muppets! I'm slowly working my way through all the shows and movies they ever had through YouTube. But I've still got a long way to go: I just finished the Muppet Show season 3 yesterday. I haven't been introduced to Rizzo the Rat or the King Prawn (I forget his name) yet. Wow, puppylove, you really know how to brighten one's day don't you?

His name is pepe the king prawn and I'm fairly sure that he is not in any of the muppet shows becouse he was first Seen in muppets from space

I've seen all the movies (expect for the great muppet caper, which I do have but just havent got round to seeing), I have the first season on dvd too! The newest movie was brilliant! I loved the Together Again reference in there too :P 
And puppylove, I can't beleive you don't like the muppets! D:

im gonna be honest here...  after i was in the thearter and watched the 1st 12 minuts of the movie the thing i though in my head where KILL ME, what a waste of money and im out of here. that how much i thought that movie sucked... and i DID leave when the 1st half our wuz done. that movie is for babies i thought. not even when i was little i liked then.

Well, you can't really say it's bad cheesehead if you've never seen it. 
Ok Puppylove, fair enough. The start of the movie was kinda slow anyway, it got real good when the actual mupets came on. And i don't think it's for children. It was a very successful family show that appealed to each and every generation.   

Well yeah, I probably can't, but I see a bunch of reviews on movies before I buy a ticket.

true chiz. the threats objective is to talk about the muppets and saying opinion is in there. i really cant see why u liked the movie. like i said, i was like kill me in the first 12 minuts but i left like... a half hour later when they where gonna go after miss piggy. I COUNT TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!
