‘Making Gromit Weekend’ at Spaceport 23rd & 24th October

To celebrate Spaceport’s first special “Wallace & Gromit in Space” weekend, they are hosting a two day extravaganza of Aardman style modelling with Aardman’s very own model maker, Jim Parkyn.



Take part between 12pm and 4pm each day and learn the process behind creating a model clay character following step by step instructions to make your own Gromit which you can take home at the end of the session!

Meet Wallace & Gromit!
Visitors will also be able to meet Wallace & Gromit throughout the half term holiday. The much loved duo will be at the Seacombe attraction, between 23rd October and 31st, recalling their ‘Grand Day Out’ while checking out Wallace’s workshop, the famous orange rocket and the dynamic duo’s picnic site as well as a selection of sets from the award-winning films.

As well as having their pictures taken with Wallace & Gromit, visitors to the exhibition can learn much more about the universe we live in, with fascinating factual displays about the Moon, our Solar System and the history of space exploration. And you can even design your own rocket/alien in a dedicated drawing area!
