Wallace and Gromit were welcomed to Number 10 Downing Street today along with five children from King’s College Hospital as Tony Blair showed his support for Wrong Trousers Day.

Mr Blair said:
"I am delighted to support Wallace and Gromit's Children's Foundation and encourage organisations and individuals to team up across the country to support Wrong Trousers Day 2007."

Wallace and Gromit's Children's Foundation was established to improve the quality of life for children in hospices and hospitals throughout the UK. The Wrong Trousers Day event raised £750,00 for its chosen causes in 2006 and is set to exceed this in 2007 with over 250,000 people already signed up.
