Hi
I made a basic wire armature and sculpted the basic 'bones' out of epoxy. Then i covered in with newplast plasticine.

The problem is i find i have to push so hard to move the armature that the plasticine just squashes and the wire pokes out. It's also very hard to keep the model in the same place while you move it, even using tie-downs.

Is there a trick i'm missing?
Thanks
Iz

What wire are you using?

Perhaps you used too much epoxy, you should be bending the wire and not the epoxy or perhaps try thinner wire?

you probably used to thick of a wire try 1/16 inch annealed aluminum wire
