Fish Posted: Mar 17th 2009

Jordan....I was just pushing your buttons...and I see it worked!>:-)

I wonder why you find it so necessary to gloat over something like that. That is the act of someone much younger than you.

jordan Posted: Mar 17th 2009

atleast its better than a boring thread of socks/swimming...

crackingcheese Posted: Mar 17th 2009

Oi!
Socks Thread Is Amazing!:O

Fish Posted: Mar 17th 2009

Jordan, this remark and your last are examples of the spamming you seem so eager to comment negatively when other do it. :-|

Gromits little bro Posted: Mar 17th 2009

you can be a bit negative and abrupt jordan
"Of all the hard-boiled eggs I've met, I'd say you were about 20 minutes"
"And what's that supposed to mean?"
"It means you've gotta lighten up"
Ring a bell?

wandgfan21 Posted: Mar 17th 2009

calm down every one,on another note 'may the sound of irish laughter fill your heart forever'

SockEyeSalmon Posted: Mar 17th 2009

Evo89 - Failte go Wallace agus Gromit (Irish for Welcome to Wallace and Gromit)! You are very, very welcome.

Wangfan - that's the truth! Thanks for cutting in there before this thread turns into a fight scene from 'The Quiet Man'

Jordan - for the love of Ada, take a chill pill!

Sorry to hear about you losing your Irish coin, Fish! I really hope you find it soon. St Anthony's good for lost stuff - have a word with him.

I am wearing odd shamrock socks today - my leprechaun ones were on my feet last night!

Nope, I'm not out on the town tonight...I was out for the afternoon in the company of an Irish charity organisation full of prominent members of the Irish community in Manchester. It was the best St Patrick's Day I've spent in years! :D

SockEyeSalmon Posted: Mar 17th 2009

crackingcheese - we will sock it to them! >:-)

Socks rock!

iantimothy ... it's lovely to know! ;)

LufseN Posted: Mar 17th 2009

what is st.patricks day????? i'm swedish.....

SockEyeSalmon Posted: Mar 17th 2009

Hello, Lufsen!

St Patrick is the Patron Saint of Ireland and everyone with Irish roots around the world celebrate this saint's day with religious service/Mass, colourful parades and celebrations with culture, music and savouring Irish food and drink.

March 17th is not just Ireland's National Day but it commemorates the day St Patrick died and went to heaven. He brought the Christian faith to Ireland but his feast day is widely known as an international festival of Irish culture.

Hope this helps!

The tea lady trundles behind the scenes of Wigan Fashion Week with the hot water urn, crockery and tray of biscuits and cake. She's not impressed with the Size Zeros:

"One spoon or two, missus?"

"I beg your pardon?!"

"Sugar, you barmpot!"

"No, thanks! I'm watching my figure."

"I've seen more meat on a butcher's mop!"

"I didn't come here to be insulted!"

"You can go somewhere else, then!"

>:-)
